As the exiles of Olâm settled throughout the Realm of TüNerahland, their budding language began to blossom and take on a unique style of its own. This stylistic way of speaking accentuated certain vowels within their language, creating a robust and sophisticated dialect.  As such, their language continues to shape itself with each fledgling and passing generation.

Diacritical marks are placed over certain letters to create a specific sound unique to the characters, items, and places within the book.

Diaresis: placed over the ï and ü

ï = ee (example: naïve)

ü = oo (example: über)

Circumflex: placed over the â and ô

â = aw (example: dâwn)

ô = ow (example: bôwl)

Acute Accent: placed over the é

é = ay (example: café)
